The Itinerary is still being developed, but the tentative plan is to do 2.2 Class during the day on Saturday, and 1.9 & Supers early on Sunday.

We are planning on doing 100 2.2 Drivers on SIX x 4 minute courses, and TOP 5 Championship Course that I will predict will be nasty.

Tickets are $65 for 1st Class, and $20 for each additional Class
Note: This year tickets reflect a $5 per driver/per class fee that goes to the USRCCA, and PERMANENT Judges for 1.9 /Super Class.

Sign ups will go through Eventbrite on a schedule that will be announced.

Great way to get your feet wet in competitive racing, new racer’s highly encouraged to participate! Noob friendly racing. House Transponders will be provided for racers. AMB System will be up and running!! Trophy’s will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each class at the end of the series.
This will be a 5 race series.

Feb 18 – Billburg’s (South County/Chula Vista)
March 5 – Hughes (North County/San Marcos)
March 17 – Central Coaster’s (Central County/Mira Mesa)
March 31 – Frank’s (South County/Chula Vista)
April 21 – Hughes(North County/San Marcos)

At each event:
Practice will start at 0900
Racing will start approximately at 1030

This should be plenty of time to have enough time to roll out of bed and make it to the track.

Pre-Pay to save $$. Payments can be made via paypal to sales@socal-rc.com

Payments for the complete series have to be made on/or before the 1st Round (Feb 18)
Each event will cost $15 for those who do not plan on doing the whole series.

Continue reading »]]> We’re kicking off 2012 with a bang. This is our new Reader’s Rides contest. We want to see your R/C’s!

There’s a catch though. We need to see your ride showing some love for Soup. Campbell’s Chunky, Generic Tomato, Cream of Mushroom, even Spaghettios, whatever! Snap a pic of your ride with some soup, and there might just be a prize in it for you.

Here’s sort of what we’re looking for. This is just an example. We want to see you guys get creative with this.

Guidelines:
Photo can be of any Radio Controlled vehicle (car, truck, heli, plane, submarine, whatever). We are more about land vehicles @ RC Soup, but we’ll accept anything R/C for this contest.

Photo MUST include some form of soup in the picture, be it in the can, or out (read into that however you wish). We’re not going to tell you HOW to shoot your submission, but creativity will get you far. You’ll want to stand out against the competition.

Photo MUST be yours, and by submitting it, you are allowing us to use it on the website, facebook, and other possible future promotions.

Submission:
Simply submit your photo via email to soupercharged@rcsoup.com. Include the subject line: SOUPercharged Rides, along with a brief description of your ride/photo.

How it works:
1. You submit a photo following the guidelines
2. We take that photo and throw it into a folder
3. Our 3 Team Soup writers pick our favs, and we take a vote on the best/most creative shot
4. We will announce the winner in a monthly post.
5. Winner is contacted and prize package is shipped out.
6. Repeat. (No rinsing). Entries will rollover to the next month automatically. You are free to submit more/different photos though at any time.

What you can win:
CowRC has graciously stepped up to be our main sponsor for this MONTHLY contest. We will be announcing others as they come in (if any).

Currently each month’s winner will receive a grab bag of CowRC logo’d gear including a Team Cow Terry Pit Towel, Pocket Screw box, Koozie, 4×6 Decal set, & a $10 Coupon code.

Misc. Details:
